Peter Barker is a professional British artist, working in oils, pastels, acrylics and watercolours, painting predominantly landscapes, with the occasional human or wildlife portrait, or still-life. anything really, that excites the eye!

I am, essentially, a representational artist in the traditional sense; that is, I paint what I see through honest eyes, with little alteration. Nature is great just how it is and in my mind, doesn't need any human, modern interpretation. I don't have a vivid imagination and abstract modern art is millions of light years off my wave length.
